Meet Trevor Johnson
Redmond has been my home since 2012. Over the last decade, I’ve watched this city change, and I’ve worked alongside many of you to make sure that change is for the better—fairer, stronger, and more vibrant for everyone.
A Track Record of Action
I don’t just talk about values; I put them into practice. I was proud to help introduce Redmond’s first-ever historic Pride Month proclamation, a major step in making our city more inclusive. My commitment to our environment isn't just a talking point, either—it’s built on years of volunteering with the Environmental Organisations and working with organisations like Greenpeace to tackle the climate issues that affect us all.
Professional Experience, Local Perspective
I bring a unique mix of practical and creative experience to the table:
-
Transit Advocacy: As a dedicated public transport advocate, I understand the nuts and bolts of how people get around our region and what it takes to make our system work better for everyday commuters and families.
-
Creative Problem Solving: My background as a professional graphic designer allows me to approach complex city challenges with a fresh, solutions-oriented lens.
-
Proven Leadership: I’ve supported grassroots political campaigns across Oregon and into British Columbia because I believe that building a community that works for everyone requires reaching across borders and learning from the best ideas out there.
A Vision for Our Future
I envision a Redmond that grows responsibly. That means investing in rapid public transit and affordable social housing so our neighbors aren't priced out. It means protecting our natural backyard. And it means standing unapologetically with our immigrant, First Nations, and 2SLGBTQ+ communities.
I’m running because I believe we can make Redmond a city where every single person has the chance to thrive. I’d love to have you join me in making that vision a reality.
